Bills vs. Ravens live score, updates, highlights from 2025 NFL playoff game

Capping the divisional round of the 2025 NFL playoffs, two superstar quarterbacks at the pinnacle of the MVP race will go head-to-head.

In what’s sure to be a thrilling matchup, Josh Allen and the Bills will host Lamar Jackson and the Ravens on Sunday night. Both teams came out of wild card weekend with relatively easy wins, setting up the rare instance of a playoff meeting between arguably the NFL’s top two quarterbacks right now.

Buffalo, which will host the game at Highmark Stadium as the AFC’s No. 2 seed, went 13-4 in the regular season prior to a 31-7 rout of the Broncos last week. As usual, the Bills’ success has been all about Josh Allen (3,731 passing yards, 531 rushing yards, 40 total touchdowns, six interceptions), who continues to make pinpoint throws look easy while leading one of the league’s top offenses.

The Bills have built a strong supporting cast around Allen as well, making Sean McDermott’s squad serious Super Bowl contenders should they advance past this game.

James Cook had a career year and headlines a strong run game. And Buffalo’s defense, which just held Denver to seven points in the wild card round, totaled 16 interceptions and 18 forced fumbles in the regular season. The AFC is a gauntlet, but there’s some reasons to believe the Bills have the strongest chance to represent the conference in Super Bowl 59.

Baltimore, a 12-5 team in the regular season and the No. 3 seed in the conference, presents a tough challenge, though. Even with two MVPs already to his name, Jackson (4,172 passing yards, 915 rushing yards, 45 total touchdowns, four interceptions) might have had his best season yet with star running back Derrick Henry by his side. The Ravens’ run game has become a true pick-your-poison scenario, with Henry capable of running right through a defense and Jackson a threat to take off at any time.

Some evidence of that dominance came just last week when Baltimore beat Pittsburgh, 28-14, in the wild-card round behind 299 team rushing yards. With Jackson also throwing the football at an elite level while avoiding turnovers and John Harbaugh’s defense allowing the fewest rushing yards per game (80.1) in the regular season, the Ravens have built a squad that also poses a serious title threat if it can win this road matchup.

The winner of this divisional game will advance to the AFC Championship Game, continuing their Super Bowl hopes for another week.

Halftime: Bills 21, Ravens 10

7:59 p.m. — Jackson takes a knee to send this game to the break. Per the CBS broadcast, this is the largest halftime deficit Baltimore has faced this season. This will be a significant test for the Ravens with their season on the line.

7:55 p.m. TOUCHDOWN — Josh Allen does it himself. He runs it up the middle, forcing himself into the end zone to make it a two-score game before halftime. The Bills’ offense hasn’t had much trouble today, especially on the ground.

7:53 p.m. — Facing a 3rd & 5, the Bills get a massive call. Ravens CB Tre’Davious White, a former Bill, is flagged for defensive pass interference. Buffalo moves inside Baltimore’s 15-yard line with time ticking down.

7:44 p.m. — At the two-minute warning for the first half, Buffalo is moving the ball on the ground. Cook picked up seven yards, then Davis adds in another 25 between two runs. The Bills have a chance to pad their lead before halftime. 

7:40 p.m. — Things are getting a little chippy in Buffalo.

Bills 14, Ravens 10

7:38 p.m. FIELD GOAL — The Ravens get some points from Justin Tucker, but the Bills will certainly take that result. Buffalo’s defense sacks Jackson on 2nd & Goal, then stops Baltimore in the red zone to keep the lead.

7:36 p.m. — Jackson bounces back from his early mistakes in a big way, finding Bateman for a 42-yard play. Baltimore is quickly in the red zone.

7:32 p.m. — This game already marks the first time this season that Lamar Jackson has turned the ball over twice.

Bills 14, Ravens 7

7:27 p.m. TOUCHDOWN — Josh Allen sneaks the ball over the goal line, giving the Bills the lead after their turnover on Jackson. 

7:26 p.m. — James Cook powers his way to a seven-yard gain on 1st & Goal. Buffalo is on the verge of taking the lead.

7:23 p.m. — Oh no, Lamar Jackson. He turns the ball over once again, this time fumbling it away while being sacked. Damar Hamlin forces the fumble on the sack, and Von Miller picks it up, running for 39 yards.

7:21 p.m. — Jackson picks up another 16 yards on the ground. Baltimore’s run game is finding some success right now, up to 54 total rushing yards so far.

End of first quarter: Ravens 7, Bills 7

7:15 p.m. — Derrick Henry starts Baltimore’s drive with a 10-yard run, and Justice Hill follows with another nine yards. That brings the first quarter to a close, with these two squads knotted at seven points.

7:12 p.m. — The Bills punt, unable to recover after the penalty. Jackson’s interception doesn’t come back to hurt Baltimore. 

7:09 p.m. — Buffalo gets called for offensive holding, pushing the offense back to a 2nd & 21. 

7:04 p.m. — Lamar Jackson went deep on 2nd & 11 … and it’s picked off. Taylor Rapp grabs Jackson’s overthrow, a rare interception for the Ravens’ quarterback. Buffalo takes over. 

Ravens 7, Bills 7

6:58 p.m. TOUCHDOWN — We’re in for a thriller. Both teams have put up seven points on their opening drives, as Ray Davis punches in a touchdown from one yard out for the Bills. James Cook posted 21 rushing yards on the Bills’ first drive.

6:56 p.m. — Buffalo reached a 4th & 2, but easy converts with a seven-yard run up the middle from Allen. The Bills are in scoring territory.

6:55 p.m. — The snow is coming down at Highmark Stadium:

6:54 p.m. — And now, Josh Allen has the Bills on the move. Facing his first third down of the game, Allen goes deep for Khalil Shakir, who comes down with the football for a 34-yard gain. 

Ravens 7, Bills 0

6:48 p.m. TOUCHDOWN — Lamar Jackson is already in a rhythm. He finds Rashod Bateman for a 16-yard touchdown to open the scoring, putting early pressure on the Bills to respond. 60 passing yards, nine rushing yards and a touchdown pass for Jackson on drive No. 1.

6:46 p.m. — The Ravens’ offense is in business already. Jackson hits Isaiah Likely for a 39-yard gain, pushing Baltimore toward the red zone. 

6:43 p.m. — Buffalo got a pair of early stops vs. Derrick Henry, but Jackson scrambles for a first down. The Ravens are looking to set the tone on their first drive.

6:40 p.m. — Lamar Jackson and the Ravens will start with the ball on the road. 

6:32 p.m. — The scene is set at Highmark Stadium. This playoff matchup between two elite squads and MVP-level quarterbacks is about to begin. 

6:23 p.m. — Just minutes remain until kickoff in Buffalo. The winner will travel to Kansas City for the AFC championship game against the Chiefs, while the Eagles and Commanders will face off in the NFC championship game.
